Introduction

United Spots Dalmatians

The Affix of the FCI was given to me in Switzwerland in 1992 when I had already my first couple: J. Indiana Les Berges du Lèman (INDI) and Unika Les Berges du Lèman. Certainly the choice of the english language for an affix is a little strange, but there is a reason for everything. In fact my husband’s work was taking us around the world every 3-4 years. United Spots had a world wide meaning and would have been internationally recognized. And, to be honest, my desire was that all the “spots”-meaning dalmatians – of the world would be “united” . This is the main reason why I chose this affix for my dalmatians.
